Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer (Node JS)

Job Location: Thiruvananthapuram

Experience: 3 – 6 Years

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate Node.js Developer to join our backend team.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic developer eager to learn and grow his/her skills in the field.

Job Description:

Strong proficiency with JavaScript
Sound understanding of Object-Oriented methodologies
Strong expertise in Node.js and frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, etc
Hands-on experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Good understanding of server-side templating languages
Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
Ability to work as individual contributor as well as a good team player
Able to develop complex based applications
Good Communication Skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Implementation of security and data protection

Qualifications/Experience:

1+ years of Node.js development experience
Substantial JavaScript experience
