Technical Requirements:

Must have 4+ years of working experience in Hadoop Development along with 2+ years in Data Analyst
Strong understanding of Hadoop architecture and various key components such as HDFS, Hbase, YARN, MapReduce
Hands-on experience in installing, configuring and using Hadoop ecosystem components such as Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Sqoop
Experience in analyzing data using ad-hoc queries via Hive and Hbase
Experience in integration of various data sources in RDMS like Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL
Experience in implementing Sqoop jobs for large sets of structured data migration between RDMS and HDFS
Must have Unix shell scripting experience
Must have batch automation (Autosys, Control-M) experience
Well versed with SDLC using Agile methodology
Understanding of business intelligence tools and concepts is a plus
Understanding of Java web based applications is a plus
Understanding of any ETL tool

Non-Technical Requirements :

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
Perform team peer code reviews and lead creation and enforcement of application development standards

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
At least 4 years of overall software development experience
