CIB Tech Index Research Full Stack Lead

This exciting role is part of JPMorgan's Index Research Technology team and you will be a key team member in application design, development and support for all internal/external clients. In this role you'll lead a talented, local development team in building mission-critical apps used by the business on a day-to-day basis to generate revenue for the firm. This includes both large-scale data platforms built on J2EE technologies as well as new web apps that are being transformed to use modern frameworks and CI/CD processes. You'll have an opportunity to both oversee and contribute to key development projects from initiation through to delivery.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Spring framework, HTML5/React JS and MVC design/development
Experience with Core Java and J2EE
Experience with database technologies (e.g. Sybase & Oracle)
Object-oriented design and coding practices / Design Patterns
Agile work experience on application development in financial institutions
M.S degree in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
Excellent problem solving / investigation abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Good project and time-management skills
Experience on Scala/SPARK/HBASE/Parquet/Kafka/Big Data is a plus
