F3 (Firm-wide Forecasting Framework) is a platform that integrates end-to-end (E2E) the management of the forecasting processes of all LOBs of the firm. The E2E perspective spans horizontally from the definition of the macro economic variables (MEV's) and scenarios to the validation and publishing of the forecast results data; and vertically from the user interfaces used for configuration of MEV's and calculators to the storage of portfolios, actuals and forecasts in a centralized and managed data store. F3 is based on micro-service architecture consisting of numerous loosely coupled services which collectively build the strategic forecasting platform (SFP). Apart from working on technical aspects, the role requires to continuously interact with various business teams across LOBs, work closely with QR (Quantitative Research) teams and mentor other technologists within the team.

You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development such as Agile frameworks is beneficial. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in application engineering and development using technologies like:
Big Data (Apache Spark, HDFS, Impala, HBase, Kafka, etc.).
Proficiency in one or more object oriented and/or functional programming languages like Python, Java, Scala or C#.
Micro-service oriented solutions and web development
React JS Experience is Plus
Knowledge on RDBMS is plus (but not mandatory)
Strong knowledge of business processes/methodologies (we follow Agile).
Ability to work collaboratively with business partners and geographically diverse teams to achieve common goals.
Financial knowledge on any domain (esp. forecasting) is an plus (but not mandatory).
