The Software Integrity team at Altair leverages a team of highly skilled CAE HyperWorks Testing Engineers experienced in product testing methodologies and tools to ensure the products meet expectations and delight customers.
CAE testing Engineer will be fully responsible for testing and evaluation of the products for various functionalities for different use cases. He/she will work on HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph, industry vertical solutions with the Program Management and the development teams, providing feedback on functionality, usability, and performance during the development and release cycle.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create overall QA plans and test case documents.
Review and finalize plans in conjunction with program Manager.
Functionality, Usability and Performance testing of HyperMesh, Hyperview, HyperGraph, Industry Vertical products.
Report issues/RFEs and Validate them relating to HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph.
Evaluate, Develop and implement test procedures for automating of testing of the above products.
Create, maintain and report execution of test cases.
Work with developers and Automation team to resolve their queries relating to product use cases.
Review all Documentation &Tutorials for assigned projects.
Industry experience relating to CAE with HyperWorks suite of products or Competitor products.
Experience with CAE model build starting from Geometry, Meshing, Connector, load case setup.
Strong work experience with CAE Solvers such as Radioss, LS_Dyna, Optistruct, Nastran, Abaqus or (Similar solver).
Very good Knowledge on the Solver capabilities(Keywords, Solution types, Debugging)
Experience with post processing CAE results.
Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - The ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs, Developers, Support Team, Customers, etc)
Familiarity with other Operating Systems such as Linux, MAC systems is advantage.
Good people, time management and organizational skills
Exposure to programming or scripting is an added advantage.
