The Software Integrity team at Altair leverages a team of highly skilled Engineers experienced in product testing methodologies and tool to ensure that the products meet expectations and delight customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
BS/BE or MS/ME in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2-4 Years of professional CAE experience with HyperMesh (or similar FE pre- processors)
Experience with FEA solvers such as Ls-Dyna or Radioss & Hyper Works products (Or similar FE solvers).
Advanced knowledge of finite element theory and methods.
Strong engineering and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs, Developers, Support Team, Customers, etc)
Good people, time management and organizational skills
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
Exposure to scripting or programming.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create overall QA plans and test case documents
Review and finalize plans in conjunction with program Manager.
Testing of various areas of Hypermesh Software -Functionality, Usability and Performance
Report bugs found during manual testing or from automated test execution
Validate the bugs that were resolved by development teams.
Update the current suite of automated tests to meet the latest release needs.
Evaluate, Develop and implement test procedures for automating HyperMesh testing.
Create, maintain and report execution of automated test cases
Work with developers and Automation team to resolve there queries relating to product use cases.
Resolve queries from customers and support teams.
Review all documentation and Tutorials for HyperMesh and related applications.
