Job Description

Software Maintenance Engineer
LocationIN-Pune

Required skills :

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or higher degree in computer science or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working as a support, sustaining, or development engineer or other Linux-related experience in an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to setting up and maintaining databases like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDb, etc.   
  • Understanding of REST and experience building RESTful APIs
  • Experience using Git and GitHub 
  • Understanding of web applications and knowledge of any web frameworks
  • Solid troubleshooting mindset, creative problem-solver, capable of self-direction, and effective time management skills
  • Highly motivated self-learner, constantly improving and adapting and working with and contributing to the team
  • Understanding of system management portfolio, including familiarity with administering Linux systems, mass installation, upgrades, configuration management, patch management, and maintenance is a plus
  • Contribution to open source projects using Ruby, Rails, Python, or any web frameworks a plus
