Qualification
: Graduation (Any IT related degree

Experience
: A Minimum of 2 to 3 years commercial
manual testing experience on Web based applications and desktop based
applications which includes atleast one year of experience working in an agile
test environment (Scrum, XP etc)
Desirable:
Hands-on-Experience
with writing Automated test scripts using Selenium RC / WebDriver or working
experience with any other test automation tool for functional / performance
testing.
Hands-on-Experience
with testing mobile based applications.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
for the position will include manual testing using agile test techniques and
will cover key areas of testing such as:
o Functional
Testing
o Regression
Testing
o System
Testing
o
Performance Testing
o Browser
Compatibility Testing
o User
Experience Testing
o User
Acceptance Testing
o Security
Testing etc.
Understand
Requirements and ensure that the requirements stated are correct, unambiguous,
and verifiable.
Create test
scenarios from feature descriptions provided by Product management, Review test
scenarios to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements
Generate
regression test cases, maintain and enhance those test cases periodically to
keep track of the application changes after every product release
Guide Junior
members involved in a project as necessary to ensure that the project goals are
met
Perform an
assigned portion of system testing for each release.
Create and
validate test data for functional components of software applications
Identify
defects and communicate with the developers
Track,
update and maintain the results of tests manually for all the defects found
during functional / regression testing and follow up the bug life cycle using
the defect tracking tools
Test
projects in accordance with written business and/or functional requirements
documentation following established standards to ensure quality assurance
across all projects
