Software Quality Engineer

Experience working in prior API testing projects with tools Postman, SOAP UI, swagger UI etc., for functional testing

Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.

Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance.

Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

Conduct functional testing.

Hands-on Strong Automation with Java for Webservices/Rest Assured for API's Automation testing

Discuss fixes with developers

Working experience on Frameworks like Rest Assured/Karate or similar frameworks

Individually able to understand the framework components and configure/update

Experience working on Agile projects

ALM/JIRA/ADO similar test/defect management tools experience

Good knowledge/ working experience in implementing CI/CD (GitLab, Maven- Jenkins, SonarQube) etc.

Identify problem areas, and add them to a tracking system.

Document results of tests for the software development team.

Effective communication, Client/stakeholders management including coordination directly from Offshore to the Clients onshore

Analyze and clarification of requirements with a customer or a business analyst.

Plan the process of testing.

Write test cases (test scripts)

Create tests to identify software problems.

Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.

Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
