As a soil microbiologist intern at Ekosight Technologies, you will be at the forefront of our research and development efforts. You will work closely with our team of experts to explore the intricate world of soil microbiology, biogeochemistry, and its significance in agriculture, environmental sustainability, and more.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in designing and conducting experiments related to soil microbiology and microbial biogeochemistry
2. Collaborate with our team on various research projects, including agriculture, forestry, remote sensing, GIS, LCA modeling, and environmental policy
3. Contribute to our understanding of microbial ecology, plant and soil microbiota, microbial metabolism, soil carbon cycles, and more
4. Support our initiatives in enhancing soil health, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving agricultural practices
5. Stay updated on the latest developments in soil microbiology and related fields
What we're looking for:
1. Enthusiasm for soil microbiology and its role in sustainability
2. Pursuing or holding a degree in soil microbiology, biogeochemistry, environmental sciences, or a related field
