Responsibilities

-         Understand the basic concept & components of an electrical installation, clearance requirements etc.

-         To develop Solar specifc HV/MV/LV Single line diagrams based on project specification and engineering inputs.

-         Preparation of AC side & DC side Single Line Diagram.

-         Equipment Earthing, Earth Mat Layouts & Direct Stroke Lightning Protection Layouts.

-         Array Layout, MV, DC, Auxiliary, CCTV layout, HT Cable Routing, DC Cable Routing Layout, Inverter Room & Main Control Room lighting.

-         Preparing various cable schedules.

-         Civil Foundations drawings, Structural Drawings & Cable Trench Plan & Section Layouts.

-         Shadow Analysis of plant

-         To develop electrical layouts’ plan & section elevation for outdoor installation from SLD + plot plans + Engineering inputs.

-         To take into account the CW / MEP interfaces and aspects while developing the layouts with the support of co-team members.

-         To develop CR Building, other aux building’s layouts & section elevation drawings.

-         To develop layout drawings for indoor installation staions.

-         To develop typical & detailed installation drawings e.g. erection key, earthing, trench routing etc.

-         To work out BOQ’s for installation material based on drawings and work out optimized arrangements.

-         To develop / update the drawings as per site mark-ups or integration of component drawings.

-         To be able to work on standard IT Tools for the everyday deliverables to the level of competency expected out of the role.

Desired Competency /Work Experience:

-         Preparation of Conceptual, Tendering & GFC drawings for Projects in Cad & Shadow Analysis with Google Sketch Up.

-         Preparation of Solar Power Plant related Overall Civil & Electrical drawings like Array Plan Layout, Trench plan & Section, Single Line Diagram, Module Mounting Structure etc.

-         Working experience for Solar & HV installation upto 132kV

-         Working experience on CAD 3D / Revit / Other equivalent software.

-         Site exposure and awareness of various aspects of an electrical installation.

-         Experience on Solar / wind / storage projects shall be added advantage.

-         Working experience on international projects & codes shall be added advantage.

-         Competency and willingness to learn and upgrade to the advanced designing tools.

-         Adoption to Process and Tools as applicable for the role & deliverables. 

-         Good communication skill.

-         Good problem-solving skill.

-         Ability to work independently, Collaboration and Teamwork.

Ability understand and communicate in English.
