• Providing comprehensive technical reviews on various energy technologies, with main focus on Solar PV and LED Street Lights
  
• Performance modeling/analysis/testing or operations and maintenance of PV and other renewable generation facilities.
  
• Witnessing the performance testing of other renewable energy or traditional power generation facilities
  
• Calculating electricity savings and payback period, writing independent/owner engineering reviews and reports, including analyzing the operations and performance (O&M) of both new and existing solar power generating facilities.
  
• Other duties include supporting team manager and overall practice in a forward-looking mentality by reviewing other/emerging technologies, such as: energy storage, participating in reviewing operations and maintenance (O&M) of other types of power generation facilities, and presenting white papers
  

Job Purpose: 

• The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and engineer LED Street Lights projects, along with Solar PV, storage and microgrid systems. 
• Street Lights project will be of size of approx. 50 000 pcs, and PV Systems will range from 1MW to 10 MW. 
• The Engineer will be responsible for assessing procurement choices, asset management systems, production and performance, construction efficiencies, and communication of needs to client in coordination with local office and head office.
  

 Role & Responsibilities: 

• Lux Calculation in Dialux
  
• Drawing in Autocad
  
• Savings Calculation and product selection
  
• Evaluate system performance components including voltage drop, power loss, circuit length
  
• Work with local team and head office procurement and engineering department to ensure timely procurement of required supply to proper specification
  
• Create engineering details, elevations, single line diagrams and other engineering and construction support documents. 
  
• Assess, evaluate, and report on proposals for design efficiencies.
  
• Communicate engineering questions and decisions to vendors, investors, and prime contractors. 
  
• Coordinate with admin, procurement and engineering team on interdepartmental responsibilities
