Execute key Program Management activities, initiatives, and programs aligned with Grainger Business Units Product Management’s goals and objectives. Assist the team with sales, supplier management, and project management objectives.

Support the supplier management works such as analysis the supplier performance, providing the regular reporting and supporting information to the team, coordinating the on-going procurement related activities and maintaining the supplier data base.

Responsible for new Supplier Identification and making first contact for getting RFI and supplier profile for the categories.

Manage sourcing for categories not represented by Sourcing Leads in a region from New Supplier Identification, arranging RFQ and execution of awarded programs in timely manner.

Develop supplier database for new & potential suppliers.

Provide data and information to Sourcing lead and Sourcing Manager for supply base analysis.

Resolving Quality issues directly with assigned suppliers and support QAR management process

Develop and manage broad and deep supplier relationships with assigned suppliers to optimize financial and operational performance.

Negotiate with assigned supplier relationships to ensure lowest total cost of procurement and various commercial terms and performance Metrics.

Maintain Cost inflation and supplier performance data reporting for the entire category aligned with Sourcing Manager.

Responsible for securing compliance to terms and conditions of Supplier Agreement Letter.

Implementation of service metrics by driving supplier performance measured by on-time delivery, quality, compliance etc.

Collects Market Intelligence data on Suppliers , Competition , Commodity Trends and Best practices

B Tech / Bachelor of Engineering

Good analytical skill on data, marketing intelligence and cost.

Capable to do research work through website to find the potential supplier.

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills required.

Excellent team player and good sense of teamwork.

Proven ability on problem solving.

Fluent in both oral and written English.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Relative experience in continue improvement or process improvement is a plus.
