Sports Authority of India (SAI) invites application for the position Sports Associate

Number of Vacancies: 05

Sports Associate will undertake following tasks: -

I. Manage day to day administrative work of HQ, SAI.

II. Oversee the function, management, planning, execution, verification & reporting of Operations of the given projects.

III. Draft Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request For Proposals (RFPs) for Procurement of Goods and Services according to the GFRs, CVC Guidelines and Procurement Manual of Government of India

Essential Qualification:-B.Tech/MBA/PGDM (2 years from a recognized University

Desirable Qualification: - MBA/Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) specialization in Sports Management from a recognized university.

Essential Experience: - Minimum of 06 months (In relevant field as mentioned in JD)

Desirable Experience: -

a. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field.

b. Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.

c. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

d. Knowledge of IT, Software applications and Social Media.

CTC (Rs.): 40,000-50,000/Month

Posting: Selected candidates shall be posted at SAI Head Office, New Delhi or in any of the SAI Centres acrossIndia and the posting so made is purely in public interest

The Sports Authority of India (SAI),a successor organization of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982, was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 in pursuance of the Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI dated 25th January 1984 of the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games as detailed in the Resolution. It is also entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and utilizing, on the behalf of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the following Stadia in Delhi which were constructed/renovated for the IX Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982
