Qualification : (l) Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. Or (II) Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.

Pay :  Group 'C' in Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay (GP) Rs. 1900/2000 (Vl CPC)/Level 2/3 of Vll CPC Pay Matrix

Minimum Sports Norms For Recruitment : For the posts in Level 213 of Pay Matrix of Vll CPC (PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs.1900/2000 in Vl CPC) norms will be:  (i) Represented country in the Olympic Games (Sr. Category). OR (ii) Represented the country in the International championships/events either in World Cup (Jr./Sr. Category)A//orld Championships (Jr./Sr. Category)/Asian Games (Si. Category)/Commonwealth Games (Sr. Category). OR (iii) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Jr./Sr. Category)/ Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Jr./Sr. Category)/South Asian Federations (SAF) -Games (Sr. Category)/USIC (World Railways) Championships (Sr. Category). OR . (iv) obtained atleast 3rd position in Sr./ Youth/ Jr. National championships. OR (v) Obtained atleast 3rd position in National Games under aegis of lndian Olympic Association. OR(vi) Obtained atleast 3rd position in All India inter University Championship under the aegis of Association of  Indian Universities. OR (vii) Obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).

Age Limit (As on 01-07-2019) :  The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01.07.2019 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 02nd July 1994 and not later than 01st July, 2001. No age relaxation is permissible.

Examination Fee/ Exemptions:

i) The examination fee for all candidates except those mentioned in para (ii) below : Rs.500/-(Five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400l to those who actually appear in the trials.

ii) ) For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with disabilities (PWDs),Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes : Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred and Fifty only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the trial.

The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed lndian Postal Order (lPO) only, from any Post office drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/HQ, South Western Railway, Hubballi, payable at Hubballi.

Recruitment Process : The recruitment will be based on trials & assessment of sports achievements, Educational Qualification, etc. The candidates who are found fit in trials only will be considered for the next stage.

Medical Examination :The Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass the requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are Medically FIT to carry out the duties connected with the post. Only those candidates who , are Medically FIT would be empanelled for appointment.
