Medline Industries, Northfield, IL, seeks a SQL analyst to join the Sales team. This person will be responsible for supportive analytical requests for our Smart Pricing processes. This will primarily involve working with T-SQL and running queries providing data to support business requests. The role could potentially expand to involved working with other tools such as SSIS, SSRS, and Tableau.

Required Skills

• Experience in writing SQL Server stored procedures, functions, triggers, constraints indexes
• Basic understanding of SSIS, SSRS
• C# .Net, Tableau experience is preferred
• Flexible and out-of-the box thinker
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
• Consolidating data from different databases using ETL for data analysis
• Performing ETL operations in SSIS
• Using databases to design business intelligence reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Investigating production issues/problems
• Providing support to the senior developer in designing database/SQL centric software products which includes design, coding, and testing of technical solutions using SQL Server.
• Create user-facing dashboards/reports for management

Work Experience

• 2 to 4 years of SQL development experience

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
