About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create and manage a data warehouse as well as related ETL processes
2. Analyze, understand, and extract structured data sources
3. Design and document logical, physical, and dimensional data model for a centralized data warehouse
4. Review the data model with the functional and technical team and assist developers, BI team, and end-users to understand the data model
5. Create MySQL code from the data model and create the database, in close coordination with developers
6. Develop, manage and monitor the ETL process and run related ETL tools
7. Maintain the changelog for the data model and ensure that data models and databases are in synch on an ongoing basis
8. Generate basic reports from the data model and support the specification
9. Design and develop standard reporting systems for business intelligence
