The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET),a constituent of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is looking for suitable candidates to recruit for the following posts (Contractual) to work for the DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for School Education) project.

i. The posting will be at its headquarter located at New Delhi. The appointment is initially till March 2022, and likely to be extended, subject to the project continuity and satisfactory performance by the candidate. Following are the details about the selection criteria for each post:

Sr. Academic Consultant Number of posts – 07

Remuneration: 60,000/- (Consolidated)

1. Essential Qualifications: Masters’ Degree in English/ Hindi/ Mathematics / Social Science (Political Science, Geography)/ Psychology/Sciences(Physics, Chemistry, Biology)/ Education from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade

2. Desirable Qualifications: - M.Phil, Ph.D., D.Litt. - Preferably NET/ SLET Qualified - Good Communication skill in English and Hindi - Experience proficiency in ET/ICT

3. Experience: At least 5 years of experience of working as an academic expert in ET/ICT/e-contents development including for CWSN projects at national/state level in the education sector.

Age: Below 45 years

Central Institute of Educational Technology(CIET),a consitituent unit of NCERT, came into existence in the year 1984 with the merger of Center for Educational Technology and Department of Teaching Aids.CIET is a premiere national institute of educational technology.Its major aim is to promote utilization of educational technologies viz. radio,TV, films, Satellite communications and cyber media either separately or in combinations. The institute undertakes activities to widen educational opportunities, promote equity and improve quality of educational processes at school level.
