Sr. Assistant. Engineer E – I/ 3 OBC – 1 ,SC - 2

POST: - SR.ASST.ENGINEER (E - I Grade) (on Fixed Tenure basis for 5 years)

POSTING: Kavaratti &Portblair

NO. OF POSTS: 2 (1-OBC, 1-SC Category)

PERIOD:-On short term basis for 5 years may be extended to 10 years based on requirement/performance.

AGE: Upper age limit :50 years as on 01.09.2020 (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/ OBC/PWD as per Govt. guidelines & also the upper age limit may be relaxed in case of deserving candidates /experienced candidates at the discretion of Management).

QUALIFICATION Ex-servicemen retired/serving officers retiring shortly from Army/ Air Force/ Navy personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication / Tele Communication/ Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates.

EXPERIENCE 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with Defence Electronic Equipment during their tenure in Defence Service. Candidates with experience in having worked in NSRY (Port Blair) or with BEL Equipment will be given preference.

Pay Scale; Rs. 30000-3%- 120000

Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in handling Weapon Systems / Electronics Systems / SONARs/ Communication Systems on-board Ships / Submarines / Dock Yard Work experience on board submarines will be an added advantage
