Sr. Business Analyst

Core Responsibilities:

Work as a senior individual contributor within the team and handle end to end analytics requirements for a defined business objective.
Analyze data to generate strategic insights for a given objective or a team charter, and crisply communicate those insights so as to influence the right decisions in the organization.
Create interactive models, reports, and dashboards. Create a strong business & functional understanding and use that do define powerful KPIs and dashboards in a timely and accurate manner.
Partner with the business units to identify new data requirements, analysis strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
Ensure a high quality of data collection, data processing & reporting. Build and assist in data administration, modeling and integration activities in data warehouse systems.
Mentor younger business analysts towards deeper analytical thinking, generating actionable insights & effective communication.

Qualification & Skills:

4 to 6 years of overall experience in analytics and reporting.
Top notch quantitative skills; strong proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis and using metrics to drive business results.
Independently liaison with key stakeholders in marketing, product & content teams to understand their requirements and provide data and insights for the right decisions.
Writing advanced SQL queries as needed for analyzing data, creating custom reports and data cleansing.
Familiarity with standard e-commerce/digital product based firm's key business metrics/terms and techniques to analyze them.
Experience in Data Warehousing- Core concepts, designing DWH, data modeling, creating facts and dimensions is a must. Should be acquainted with any data-warehousing tool and process.
Very strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and at senior executive level.
Must be intellectually curious, self-motivated, detail oriented, able to work independently & multitask.
Experience in data analysis in R or Python is a plus.
