Role and Job Description Details

SCOPE OF WORK

• Develop and enhance solutions related to Movicel BI and Datawarehouse requirements to turn data into knowledge in order to support the decision-making process.
• Analyze, solve problems and communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Provide expert advice to Supervisor and Head of Department in current trends industry trends and standards as well as possible enhancements to existing Client solutions.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of reports from different sources of information (Billing, ERP, CRM, Network, social networks, etc.);
• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy)
• Create tools to store data (e.g., OLAP cubes)
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Ensure the functionality of the MicroStrategy application (application is used for managing reports made available to clients);
• Train, mentor, coach and transfer knowledge to Client side regarding the gaps identified.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE (REQUIREMENTS)

• Experience with Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience in using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2008 tools, SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio 2008, MicroStrategy and Oracle PL / SQL;
• Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL.
• Knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence and Data Mining,
• Fluent English.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist with over 6 Years’ experience.
• Industry experience is preferred over 7 Years’ experience.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining
