JOB PURPOSE:

Accurate and timely finance /accounting at the plant (site) and sound MIS reporting thereof, so thatmanagement is able to make financially sound business decisions

To ensure that all accountingjobs are performed timely and accurately in line with prescribed standards(IGAAP and US GAAP).

DIMENSIONS:

Financial:

Revenue Recognition

•Cost Accounting

•Monthly Closing of Books amp; Reporting

•Compliance

•Highlight the Cost control improvement areas

Non-Financial:

•Supporting in the Statutory / Internal Audit

•Liaise with Technical Team and Customer to resolve any issues

4.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Chalking out Annual / Monthly Plant Budgets / Forecasts in consultation withOperations, Site Manager and other associated functions at Plant level such asHR/Procurement/Asset Management/EHS.

•Management accounting to provide accurate information for necessary businessdecisions at corporate level.

•Vendor invoice checking, verifying with agreements amp; processing.

•Customer invoicing and follow up for collections to improvise Collection period

•Site specific CAPEX and OPEX Cost Analysis (periodical reviews for takingnecessary corrective actions if any required)

•Credit Control with respect to all site elated receivables / payables to ensurethat cash-flows are maintained as planned.

•Site Level Monthly Accounting – Accruals, Prepayments, Standard Journals andBalance Sheet Reconciliations.

•Site specific F amp;A related Statutory Compliance to ensure 100% compliance inthis area.

•Site specific Internal Controls in line with Corporate Guidelines

SPECIAL FEATURES:

The job holder operates in anenvironment where the key focus is on timely and accurate accounting andreporting. The job holder would need to ensure that all his/her tasks areperformed without any compromise.

Education:

•Should be post graduate in Commerce or semi qualified Chartered Accountant.

Experience:

•Should possess minimum of 4 years’ of relevant experience preferably in manufacturingor process plant based accounting environment with focus on costing.

Knowledge, Abilities andOther Requirements:

Knowledge of IGAAP.

•Basic knowledge on Commercial Legislation such as GST Laws.

•Policy and Process Orientated

•Eye for detail to pick up variances for taking up corrective actions.

•Application of Financial Planning Tools – Oracle, Essbase, Hyperion (Addedadvantage)

•Ability to understand the manufacturing costing (both operational andmaintenance activities)

•Effective Communication and Presentation Skills. Should be good in English,Hindi

•Associated Functions –Site Manager, Projects/Engineering; Operations; HR;Procurement; EHS; Asset Management and Sales etc.

•Achieving low risk rating at Internal / External Audits.

•Achieving 100% statutory compliance where a few unknown aspects may crop-in byway of new legislation / standards etc.

•Improvement in Accounts Receivable

•Support in meeting all deadline, statutory compliances at locations
