Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic person for temporary positions in the project. If you want to be a part of this challenging research and technology development initiative on VTOL UAV at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur, you are encouraged to apply for the following position.

Sr. Project Engineer/One

Pay Scale: Rs. 32400 -2700- 81000

Qualification: Masters in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering + 3 years relevant exp.

Essential: Experience with computational fluid dynamic modeling and analysis, knowledge of mesh generation tools and solvers for CFD of 3D aerodynamic objects.

Desirable: Experience with computer programming, background in basic fluid mechanics / aerodynamics. Knowledge of commercial CFD software like Ansys, Fluent or open source tools like SU2.

The appointment is purely temporarily and on contractual basis. If any candidate is found suitable for lower or higher position based on qualification and experience, he may be considered for that position. Position is till the end of the project. Higher starting salary may be considered for suitable candidates.
