About the project: Parimal and Pramod Chaudhary Center for Learning and Teaching(PPCCLT)collaborates with faculty, education experts, graduate and undergraduate students across Institute to foster excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: 1. MCA or MSc (IT) with at least six-months experience in moodle LMS or
2. BCA or BSc (IT) or equivalent with three years experience in Moodle LMS.
3. Linux server administration 4. Programming experience in at least one of Java, Php, or python.
Job Profile: System Administrator and Moodle Application Specialist: The person should be able to:
1. Install, manage a webserver, mailserver on local as well as on cloud
2. Manage automated backup and restore of data
3. Install and manage Moodle, Drupal, and WordPress CMS
4. Load-test and tune of apache and MySQL servers
5. Create individual courses, users, and roles in Moodle
6. Upload of multiple courses and roles using an appropriately formatted CSV
7. Define role permissions for categories
8. Manage plugins (installation and configuration)
9. Setup authentication frameworks such as Oauth2 and LDAP
10. Manage question banks
11. Set up and help instructors with all commonly-used activities and resources (assignment, quiz,
workshop, h5p interactive video, feedback)
12. Link activities based on completion tracking; set up visibility rules
13. Create and manage groups
14. Install and configure
BigBlueButton server and Scalelite load balancer
Pay Details: Level PR-A3 : Salary range from Rs.25200 to Rs 50400 + Rs.5000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
General information:The Position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project . The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
