Senior Research Biologist (01 position)
Project:Study on bird and wildlife Hazards to aircrafts in select Indian civil airfields.
Duration01 Year.
Essential QualificationMinimum 55% marks in Masters’ Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Sciences/ Wildlife Biology/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University with two years research experience after Post graduation.
Desirable QualificationKnowledge/work experience on faunal taxa especially on birds and mammals and willingness to work anywhere in the country.
AgeShall not exceed 35 years on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women.
Fellowship" Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA
Junior Research Biologist (07 positions)
Project:Study on bird and wildlife Hazards to aircrafts in select Indian civil airfields.
DurationOne Year.
Essential QualificationEssential Qualification: Minimum 55% marks in Masters’ Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Sciences/ Wildlife Biology/ Botany / Biodiversity & Conservation /Environmental Sciences / GIS and remote sensing from a recognized University.
Desirable QualificationDesirable Qualification: Knowledge/work experience on faunal taxa especially on Birds/Mammals and willingness to work anywhere in the country.
AgeShall not exceed 28 years on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women.
FellowshipRs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA.
Description of WorkThe selected candidate is expected to undertake field studies on birds/ wildlife as per the requirements of the project in and around selected airports in the country.

Project:Characterization of Community Reserves and Assessment of their Conservation Values in Meghalaya DurationTill 31st March 2021
Essential QualificationMinimum 55% marks in Masters’ Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Sciences/ Wildlife Biology/Ecology & Environmental Sciences/ Biodiversity & Conservation/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University
Desirable QualificationKnowledge/work experience on faunal taxa especially on herpetofauna and willingness to work in mountain areas.
AgeShall not exceed 28 years on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women
FellowshipRs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA
Description of WorkThe selected candidate is expected to undertake faunal (herpetofauna) studies as per the requirements of the project in different community reserves of Meghalaya and assist the Principal Investigator in project activities.
