Job Description

Applications from Indian nationals are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

1. Name of the Post: Sr. Research Fellow

2. No of Post: 01

3. Consolidated fellowship / Pay-slab: Rs.35,000/-p.m. plus HRA @ 24%

4. Essential Qualifications:

a) 1st class Post Graduate Degree in Physics/EE/ECE or related area. Candidates should have qualified GATE/NET* examination. Candidates selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. will also be considered.

b) Two years of research experience in semiconductor device fabrications or THz electronics. *The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
