Job Description

Job Summary

• Looking for a Sr. RF Engineer who will be closely working with Principal test engineer and the clients globally to test the instruments developed and supported for clients.
  

Responsibilities and Duties

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Working productively and seamlessly as a member of a skilled team of compliance professionals
  
• Developing test procedures for radio compliance testing
  
• Creating test plans and performing tests as per radio compliance standards
  
• Writing test reports
  
• Maintaining suitable test equipment for testing different types of radios
  

Required Experience, Skills and Qualification

• Qualification :- B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech - Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation
  
• Experience :- 5+ Years
  

RF knowledge

• Applicants may be able to just have knowledge of RF fundamentals, including how to measure and characterize various types of spectrum.
  

Experience with test instrumentation

• Comfortable with and understanding RF test equipment. Equipment spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, power supplies, power meters, battery emulators and pulse generators.
  

Data analysis skills

• Familiarity with data analytics, databases, measurement uncertainty concepts and calculations, correlation analysis and process capability statistical analysis are often skills that employers want to see – along with a general analytical and problem solving mindset.
  

Software and scripting skills

• Knowledge of C/C++ scripting. RF test engineers are often responsible for test plan development and scripting as part of technical test engineering support.
  

Communication skills

• RF test engineers need to be able to have good written and verbal skills for communicating with their own team as well as other parts of their employers’ business – often, that includes the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to others without a technical background.
