Responsibilities of Position

Sr.Strategic Sourcing Specialist:

Experience- 10-15 Years Of Procurement Or Contracting Experience

Lead procurement activities for assigned projects – source, negotiate and contract suppliers to provide the required items for our projects sold to customers and end-users.
Develop procurement plans for each project to which assigned and provide status on items purchased.
Support the sales support functions in acquiring pricing for proposal opportunities.
Be main point of contact for Key suppliers of Control Valves and specialty items.
Support key KPI’s of the group as assigned by manager.
Collaborate with functions to ensure that function requirements are addressed and that services expectations are met
Learn and become proficient in procurement policies, processes, systems, methodologies.
Negotiate pay terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and insures compliance with Honeywell's terms and conditions.
Develop regular cadence with key suppliers to any issues within the supply chain and internal partners to align strategies.

Key Success Factors

Minimize the total costs of purchased goods and services by selecting the accurate contracting strategies, contractually protecting Honeywell's intellectual and indemnity interest, carrying out contract compliance and using competitive practices.
Assists site and functional customers in compliance with sourcing strategy and procedures
Helps implement strategies for efficiency and cost reduction.
Establishes win-win Honeywell/Supplier relationships.
Achieves savings, as outlined by Supply Chain SBU Goals.
Incorporates E-procurement best practices.

Must Have Skills

ERP system experience. SAP experience strongly preferred

5-10 years of total experience.
BE/Btech or any Technical or business degree.
Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation, supply based management & Supply relation.
Knowledgeable of basic legal and commercial concepts
