Job Description

Sr Tech Associate

Chennai, India

Responsibilities

Work as L1 application support team member in MAPS First Responders
Work on a wide range of Critical Application’s on wide platform UNIX, MS SQL 2008 Server, Oracle and Python.
Monitor the batch for failed events, Check for feeds & any background failures through ITRS dashboard & e-mails
Handle Level-1 support for Application’s & related issues through a structured Knowledge base (KEDB)
Escalate support for issues not updated in Knowledge base and will be resolved through direct/telephonic support from Level-2 teams
Apply application and database patches in production system for critical application
Execute release steps in production systems
Resolve ITSM/NEWS Tickets & JIRA. Perform month end specific tasks in few applications
Work on scheduling tools such as Autosys, cron for all Job related actions

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
