Key Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible
for Regional logistics and distribution management - which will entail
warehousing management and last mile delivery to final customers.
A. Warehousing
· Responsible for complete warehousing & CFA
management across the region. Identify CFA Warehouse locations and create a
network around that to carry out secondary distribution
· Implement systems & processes to ensure safe
& efficient storage, handling and upkeep of stocks
· Coordinate with CFA for adherence to norms of
warehouse, monthly review of KPI’s and negotiation on cost structures
· Drive OTIF of execution of customer orders with
focus on manpower productivity
B. Distribution / Secondary Transportation/Customer
Service
· Responsible for ensuring high level of service
levels while servicing business requirements in agile manner
· Manage transportation from CFAs / distribution
centers to final customer including route / vehicle planning for both modern
and traditional trade to optimize freight & Service
· Plan distribution network from CFA's to
distributors achieving the desired service levels with optimum cost possible
· Responsible for ordering-billing-dispatch cycle.
Setting up CFA team for carrying out operations of billing, dispatch, delivery
and issues resolution
· Identify, develop and create transporters network,
identify right transport model with least cost to achieve desired service
levels for secondary distribution. Define operational KPI's like OTIF, lead
times, TATs to transporters, monitor performance
· Review and plan route days in alignment with sales
· Organizing transportation requirements for
dispatches and ensure delivery
· Developing vendors for transporters, CFA operations
for scaling up of operations, negotiate
· Implement the distribution plan including
transportation, warehousing and last mile delivery to support growth in the
region
· Identify opportunities for cost savings without
affecting the service levels
· Prepare, manage & control logistics budget for
the region
· Demonstrate team work in cross-functional teams to
resolve issues and deliver breakthrough improvements consistent with best
demonstrated practices.
· Develop and execute liquidation plan of obsolescence/slow
moving SKU's post discussion with stakeholders
· Responsible for managing performance of all service
providers through contracts / service level agreements, monitoring and
operations reviews, for his region.
A substantial part of the role would be to setup strong
systems and processes in place for Warehousing, Logistics and Distribution, andensure that we are in a
position to scale up, as we grow and invest in the business as envisaged in the
very near future.

· External -Logistics Vendors, Transporters, CFA’s,
WH’s etc
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of supply chain
experience in Logistics in Food, FMCG, FMCD, E-commerce or allied industries
Education
Qualification: Any Graduate;
preferably in Supply Chain related disciplines
