Job Description

Senior Research Fellow

Project entitled 'Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) in 'Biofortification in selected Crops for Nutritional Security

No.of. Posts: 01

Post Graduate in Analytical Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Food Science & Nutrition from recognized University. Two years of research experience or should have NET qualification.

Minimum 3 years with the operational knowledge Minimum 3 years with the operational knowledge U-HPLC/LC-MS/GC-MS/ICP-MS,

Rs.25,000/- plus 30% HRA p.m. fixed without any other allowances.

Upto 31st March. 2021.

Age Limit: 35 Years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR Guidelines.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a 'Deficiency Disease Enquiry' and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged 'Nutrition Research Laboratories' (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
