The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore invites application through online mode for engagement of Senior Research Fellow – 2 Nos. (To be posted at Barrackpore or at Project Sites) purely on contractual basis to work under “NASF Hilsa Project entitled” at ICARCIFRI, Barrackpore

Name & No. of position :2 (two)

Senior Research Fellows (To be posted at Barrackpore or at Project site as per necessities) 

Tenure 01 (One) year only OR co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Competent Authority may extend the engagement if required, as per rule.

Essential qualification :M. F.Sc. (Aquaculture / Genetics & Breeding / Fisheries Resource Management / Environment / Fish Pathology) or Ph. D. in Zoology (Specialization in Fish & Fisheries) or M.Sc. in Zoology (Specialization in Fish & Fisheries) and NET qualified with 2 (two) years research experience.

Remuneration 31,000/- + HRA as per rule. 

Age Limit Minimum 21 years and maximum age limit as on the date of interview is 45 years with relaxation as per rule.
