Job Description

Senior Research Fellow/ No.of. Posts: 01

Pay Scale: @ Rs. 35000/- P.M. + 16 HRA.

Qualifications and eligibilitv conditions for Senior Research Fellow: l. B.V.Sc.&AH or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0. 2. M.V.Sc in any branch of Veterinary Science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0, and with NET/GATE qualification OR 3. 4. M.Sc. in Animal Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology or any relevant branch of life science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 with NET/GATE qualification. 

Two years of research experience in relevant field (relaxable for candidates with Ph.D). Candidate should have knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.

The condition of knowledge of Punjabi upto matric level is however, relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving. Preference will be given to candidates with M.V.Sc in Animal Biotechnology / Veterinary Microbiology or M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry and having work experience in animal cell culture, recombinant DNA technology, molecular biology, and immunological techniques.

Age Limit: 40 years (as on date of application),which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates.
