IITB Project Recruitment:

Project title: Study of stress corrosion cracking mechanism(s) of copper containing 7000 series

aluminum alloys

About the project: The work involves studying stress corrosion cracking behaviour of metals.

Experience related to physical/mechanical metallurgy, corrosion, microscopy is preferred

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

M. Tech in metallurgy/Corrosion. B.Tech with research publications are also considered. Must be a

first class, selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including

lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government

Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD,

ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. with 2 years of research experience.

Pay Details: Consolidated salary Rs.35000/- p.m. + HRA
