Senior Research Fellow /01

Essential: Master’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated13.07.2015andF.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015

Desirable: Experience in working with yeasts and bacteria; Good knowledge of computers and MS Office. Candidates with work experience in biofuels and expertise in fermentation, HPLC and other techniques will be preferred. Experience will be judged from published work.

Pay Scale: Rs.31000+ HRA (As per ICAR Rules

Essential: Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology or M. Tech Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree or candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree, should have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICARNET/GATE.

Minimum two years working experience after M.Sc./M.Tech. or Ph. D. in relevant discipline as above (As per ICAR Memorandum No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13thJuly, 2015 and Agrl. Edn./6/27/2014-HRD, dated October 9, 2015. Desirable: Experience of working with cyanobacteria and microalgae, cultivation and biochemical characterization with proficiency in computer skills.

Pay Scale: Rs.28000+ 30% HRA (Pre-revised)
