SRF Nanotechnology  recruitment in National Institute of Technology Rourkela

Name of the Research Project : “Design and Development of Smart Wearable Device for Onsite Monitoring Health, Physical Activity and Fatigue Level”

Essential Qualifications and experience : A Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Engineering (Nanotechnology/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Material Science/ Biotechnology or allied branch of Engg) with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate) OR a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Material Science/ Biotechnology or allied branch of Engg) with a Minimum CGPA of 8.0/10.0 (or 75% aggregate) OR Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Science (from above mentioned branches) with minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate). Essential qualification/experience will be as per the DST norms.

Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Prior research experience or knowledge in synthesis of nanomaterials and materials characterization is preferred but not mandatory. Hand-on experience on handling SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR etc. would be an added advantage.

Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- P.M. for first two years (JRF) and Rs. 35,000/- P.M. for last years (SRF) (It will be followed as per Govt. rules.)
