SRF and RA Physics positions at Cellular Immunology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi
1. Senior Research Fellow: Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research fellow
in the Cellular Immunology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is temporary, with the
initial tenure of one year, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year
on basis, subject to annual assessment.
Educational qualifications: Masters degree (MSc) in any field of life sciences, physics or
Mathematics or M.Tech degree in related field.
Requirements: Only NET/GATE qualified individuals or those with M. Tech degrees will be
called for interviews. Command on computational skills including C/C++/Python will be
considered favorably. Those with expertise only in the wet lab work will not be considered.
2. Research Associate (RA): Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in
the Cellular Immunology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is temporary, with the initial
tenure of one year, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on
basis, subject to annual assessment.
Educational qualifications: PhD in any field of life sciences.
Requirements: Experience in molecular cloning, protein cloning, expression and purification
in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, making stably transfected eukaryotic cell lines,
FACS/sorting, immunofluorescence, co-IP, Gateway cloning, ChIP, Gel-shift and super-shift
assays will be desirable. The RA is expected to independently carry over the designated work
and should be capable of trouble-shooting, amenable to work in a large group and should be
highly dedicated and sincere.
