Essential Qualification : a) Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science QB Masters degree in Agricultural Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with NET qualification or Postgraduate in professional course with specialization in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology
Desirable: Proficiency in computer \skills and knowledge of different statistical nackaees will be preferred .
b) Essential: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Computer Application Masters degree in Bioinformatics/ Computer Application with NET qualification QB professional Postgraduate in course with specialization in Computer Application Science/Computer
Desirable: Experience in database development and management, web designing will be preferred.
c) Essential: Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology / Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Life science OR Masters degree in Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science with NET qualification Postgraduate professional in course with specialization in Microbiology (Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology Desirable: Candidates having experience in DNA isolation, PCR, sequencing and use Of basic bioinformatics tools will be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs.25000 Per Month.

National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM) was established through a funded project sponsored by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE),Ministry of Agriculture (Government of India) in the IX Plan in 2001 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Initially, the bureau started functioning at Old NBPGR Building, New Delhi and then shifted to Kusmaur, Mau Nath Bhanjan, Uttar Pradesh on 1st June, 2004.The basic goal of the Bureau is to promote and coordinate systematic and scientific research in the area of agriculturally important microorganisms (AIMs) in order to improve the agricultural productivity.
