Role Definition: Home Lending Capital Markets is looking for a motivated ETL/DB developer/data analyst to interact with the business stakeholders to understand their needs/requirements and contribute independently or directly within a team of developers/analysts to provide optimal technical solution.
Good business background in the mortgage origination and servicing domain / and or capital markets is a plus. Ability to work in a geographically distributed team and the disciplines associated with it is required. Self-starter with proven ability to perform in-depth data and systems analysis and understand the business problem and document it in a structured fashion is necessary. Good communication skills are vital for this role. Ability to write logically organized, performant and maintainable code is a must. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. General idea of component based development model is needed.
Business Domain: The domain of home lending capital markets is large and in general supports the raising of capital (via buying and selling of fixed income assets) to fund primary market mortgage product needs. It supports various critical aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to product structuring, pricing, delivery, risk analysis and valuation of the loan asset. Major stakeholders in this domain range from loan officers to traders and investors as well as pricing and product specialists.
SDLC: We follow an agile methodology for development with an eye to delivering a working solution to the business in an iterative manner. A distributed development methodology requires us to integrate frequently. A test driven development model is encouraged. The candidate is expected to be proficient in understanding and working with large data sets.
 
Qualification and Experience:
·        Bachelor degree and / or equivalent.
·        6-8 years of development experience.
·        Experience with source code control system (SVN/GIT) is a must.
·        Experience with an IDE is needed (Visual Studio 2008-2012 / Eclipse)
Technical Background:
·        Sql Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2012 / 2016 / 2019 with Oracle/ SQL Server databases skill is a must.
·        SSAS skills is a plus
·        Database programming knowledge using Oracle PL-SQL / SQL Server T-SQL as well as experience in writing stored procedures and packages is needed. Ability to write complex SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis needs. 
·        Hands on working knowledge of object oriented programming and development practices using .Net / Java platform is a plus.
