Patient Assessment. 

Medication Management. 

Patient Safety and Infection Control.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care.

Assist with the continuous development of staff.

Identify hazards in the workplace and provide solutions.

Treat emergency injuries.

Develop programs to maintain health and safety.

Identify work-related risks.

Document all injuries and illnesses.

Assess the needs of the patients in the ward and make nursing care plan for all patients consulting with ward sister.

Provide comfort to the patient and maintain safety of the patient.

Take over the charge from duty nurse of previous shift, regarding patients (bed to bed), instrument supplies, drugs etc. and handed over the same to the next shift.
