Position description The Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing high-level expertise to support Remedy SaaS (On-Demand) products for Enterprise customers. The Job Scope includes trouble-shooting issues related to ITSM , CMDB , MYIT , SMART IT products on multiple operating systems, databases, and networks, to provide a timely and accurate response to our customers. Report and validate design defects and enhancement requests. Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

A candidate should have UNIX/Windows System management exposure, a good understanding of Containerize (Docker) technology, and good knowledge of OS virtualization.

A candidate should have an understanding of cloud technology, particularly AWS and Azure.

He should participate in module design with particular focus paid to the production of high quality, portable, maintainable, and BMC standards-compliant software; Provides design and requirement inputs to product architect in support of the aforementioned goals.

A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrates creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.

Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery

Operate in an agile scrum style with a mindset toward creating workable interim deliverables that can be demonstrated to clients and product managers Qualifications

8+ years of experience

Experience with object-oriented development, experience writing commercial-grade software applications;

Strong knowledge of the following technologies: C, C++, Core Java (Threading, Design Patterns, Data Structures),UNIX/Windows

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred

Good written and oral communication skills in English.

Experience working in an agile development environment and tools is required
