Personal Assistant

Qualification : i) Minimum 3 years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute with computer literacy ii) 120 w.p.m. speed in short hand (English or Hindi)

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

Assistant

No. of Vacancy : 1 (UR)

Qualification : i) Minimum three years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institution ii) Working knowledge of Computer (MS Office/ Power Point)

Pay (as per 7th CPC) : Level 6 of Pay Matrix; Rs. 35,400 -1,12,400

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

Upper Division Clerk

No. of Vacancies : 6 (UR – 5, OBC – 1)

Qualification : i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years

Stenographer

Qualification : i) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with computer literacy ii) 80 w.p.m. speed in shorthand in English or Hindi

Pay (as per 7th CPC) : Level 4 of Pay Matrix; Rs. 25,500 – 81,100

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years

Lower Division Clerk

No. of Vacancy : 1 (UR)

Qualification : i) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

Pay (as per 7th CPC) : Level 2 of Pay Matrix; Rs.19,900 – 63,200

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years

Application Fee : Demand Draft for Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) towards application fee drawn in favour of “The Director, ICMR-VCRC, Puducherry” to be submitted along with duly filled-in application. SC/ST/PwD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. ICMR employees are not exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process : The selection to the above posts shall be made by open competitive written test followed by skill test on computer. For the posts of LDC / Stenographer / UDC / Assistant / Personal Assistant, the qualifying marks for written test shall be 50% for UR/OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PH candidates, out of total marks prescribed. Only qualified candidates in the written test will be called for computer based skill test for the post of LDC / UDC / Assistant and shorthand test for the post of Stenographer / Personal Assistant.

Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC) is one of the permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research established in 1975 at Pondicherry.A centre of excellence for research and training in vector-borne diseases and control and a WHO collaborating Centre for Research and Trainining in Lymphatic Filariasis and Integrated Methods of Vector Control.
