Steward / Waiter
Responsibilities:
v Setting tables and cleaning the same after every guests
v Putting table clothes, table runners, and placing any other decorative items
v Greeting guests and escorting them to the table
v Serving guests water and other refreshments
v Presenting menus to the customers
v Refilling glasses and cleaning empty plates
v Assisting the Waiters in collecting food from the serving station
v Helping with the unloading of kitchen stock and ingredients
v Coordinating with the Housekeeper and ensuring cleaning of dirty linen
v Cleaning and washing dirty dishware and utensils
v Assisting with guests with any of their queries and directing the urgent ones to the Restaurant Manager
v Ensuring that the bar and restaurant area is fully equipped and stocked
Requirements:
v High school diploma or equivalent
v 2-3 years of work experience as a Steward or a similar job role in the Hospitality industry
v Complete knowledge of the industry and hygiene standards and safety regulations
v Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
v Strong presentation and multitasking skills
v Having a welcoming personality
v Good physical and mental strength
v Willing to work at flexible hours and on weekends
v Ability to work independently and collaboratively
v Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
v Ability to offer enhanced customer experience
