Job Description
Job Role: Storage Admin
Storage Level 1/ Level2 +:
•Storage system monitoring and management
Storage Level 1/ Level2 +:
•Storage system monitoring and management
•Troubleshooting skills related to the product and solution deployed
•Proficiency in configuration and management
•Understanding of data replication methodologies and tools of the corresponding storage vendor
•Including Migration Activities
•Working on FAS 2500, 3000, 6000, 8000, E5400, E5500,E2700 Series
•Disaster recovery concepts
•Host based Volume Manager concepts and implementation experience
•Experience in Firmware upgrade
•SAN switch Zoning
•Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems.
•Administer entire server systems.
•Collaborate with DBA as well as Ops to assure apt storage usage.
Skills Required:* ONTAP Mode 7, Clustered ONTAP, SANtricity, Snap Manager, Snapshot, SnapMirror
