Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Storage Admin, you will be responsible to maintain and manage various storage solutions. Provide L2 & L3 Level technical support, guidance and direction for products supported.
Analyse and resolve escalated problems.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Maintain and Manage various storage solutions. Provide L2 & L3 Level technical support, guidance and direction for products supported. Analyse and resolve escalated problems.
Ensure integrity of supported environment.
Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks.
Manage and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring software. Work with change and problem management tools.
Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison. Liaise with customer accounts as required, Analyse and resolve escalated problems within target.
Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability.
Document and implement changes to technical standards as required.
Change and problem management targets are exceeded. Ensure that customer satisfactory levels are exceeded

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 4-5 yrs of experience in Storage administration
Experience on IBM V7000, V9000, Brocade Directors, Cisco SAN and Switches.
Proficient in troubleshooting performance related issues on IBM Storage, SRDF implementation, troubleshoot and maintain corporate storage and data replication structures
Expertise to manage NAS and CIFS, Architecture and Design knowledge on Storage and SAN, remote replication for NAS
Demonstrate capability in Performance tuning of storage/Vlan configuration, Volumes/Luns creation, storage space management
In-depth knowledge of analysis for storage backend problems, Storage controller firmware up gradation, Disk controller firmware up gradation
Ability to analyze current enterprise architectures and makes recommendations for capacity planning, performance tuning and design issues.
Willingness to work in Central shift and available for on-call rotation.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

Certifications: relevant storage certification.
Ability to ensure that all the data pertaining to the company and its clients is safeguarded against unauthorized or illegal use by implementing various methodologies against those who violate the security rules and regulations
Proficient to maintain the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and to maintain its authenticity, control and utility of the relevant data
Experience in supporting all the necessary procedures related to security approval, accreditation, certification, etc.
In-depth knowledge to implement a realistic approach during the certification schedule and process
Hands-on experience to ensure compliance with vulnerability and mitigation procedures and to establish and install security fixes at regular intervals
Languages: English, Hindi and Local Language TELUGU is preferred.
