Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Dell Storage Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage.

• Responsible for L2 and above level Storage Management services and product support for various Storage boxes supported storage solutions across various accounts for Servers
• Managing and maintaining the operational integrity of our systems
• Keep track of storage and backup related notifications or events and act on them
• Take care of firmware upgrades of both storage and backup infrastructure
• Respond to incidents and alerts in the stipulated SLAs
• Configuration and Troubleshooting storage and backup issues
• Collaborate and support product development teams for application onboarding
• Work with vendor for any hardware failure or performance issues
• Automate deployment processes, customization, upgrades and monitoring for our data related system
• Work with other team members who are in a different time zone
• Review daily status and follow up on any issues on account environments

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Dell Storage domain
• Experience in installation, configuration and upgradation on Windows, UNIX and Linus environments
• Ability to support day to day backup operation and do troubleshooting to avoid re occurrence
• Proficient in handling the customer issues within the Backup environment
• Expertise in problem solving, installation, Configuration, Performance Optimization, and Backup administration
• Proficient in documenting existing and new infrastructure deployments using Run Book and architecture diagrams
• Demonstrable ability to implement processes to standardize IT practices and procedures, capability and risk mitigation
• Validated knowledge in providing Monthly capacity management for all the dell storage and forecasts to assess future growth and capacity requirements
• Willingness to perform duties in high availability - 24*7

• Working knowledge on Dell Storage across all series of the product range

• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
