The Store Incharge is responsible for managing daily store operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of materials. The role ensures accurate stock records, proper storage, timely availability of materials, and adherence to company procedures and safety standards.
Maintain accurate stock levels of materials, tools, and equipment
Monitor inventory and initiate purchase requests when stock reaches reorder level
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable
Receive incoming goods and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
Issue materials as per authorized requisitions
Coordinate dispatch of materials and maintain records
Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and ERP/software entries
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports
Track damaged, expired, or slow-moving items
Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward movements
Ensure proper storage and housekeeping of store area
Arrange materials systematically for easy identification
Follow safety standards and company policies
Prevent theft, loss, or damage of materials
