Job Responsibility: 

Revenue Generation

• Ensures sales to stock norms are maintained

• Stock reconciliation & stock movement as per floor requirements.
• Ensure that the stocks are as per the customer’s requirements
• Ensure growth of the store and its market share in terms of sales and revenues.
• Achieves Sales targets and ensures profitability of the store.
• Cost controlling by budgeting the expenses.
• Operations
  • Ensures that all the activities during Store opening and store closing are adhered to.
  • Operationalisng the store to ensure it to be on top of the customers mind.
  • Coordinating and controlling all support functions viz., HR, IT, Marketing, ware housing VM, merchandising Facilities & Admin.,
  • Total control on store issues relating to  store operation.
• Competition Mapping
  • Understand and map competition and performance on a regular basis.
  • Identifying competitors in the market
• Customer Service   
  • Resolving Customer Complaints to deliver lifestyle experience.
  • Co- ordination with marketing dept to organize customer centric promotion activities.
  • Interacting with customers & obtaining their feedback.
  • Addresses concerns and queries of customers by being personally available to meet the customers.
  • Gives feedback on returns and reasons thereof
  • Trains the entire team to excel in customer service
  • Lends a direction towards the Customer Service Management.
• Visual Merchandising
  • Maintains the look of the store in consultation with the Visual Merchandiser.
  • Makes the store more convenient for self service
  • Visual Presentation of Merchandise and monitoring the presentation quality.
  • Keeping the store looking good to deliver lifestyle experience.
  • Focus the VM on price offers, product offers and product attributes.
  • Highlighting the attributes that lead to higher sale (price, offers, product attributes.
  • Improving & Maintaining the Façade of the Store
• Product Updates    
  • Updates the Merchandising team of the latest trends in the market on fashion, price, product, of competitors as well as customer demand.
• Controlling Pilferage
  • Control pilferage / shoplifting.
  • Controls damages on the floor/store assets with the help of staff.
  • Regular stock takes to monitor the same
• Commercial activities              
  • Banking and cash responsibility including security of the same.
• People Managing   
  • Ensures that all employees are disciplined and adhere to the stores disciplinary policies.
  • Inspects staff grooming.
  • Develops & Maintains a motivated and enthusiastic team who would achieve and exceed targets
  • Creates a professional environment for internal as well as external customers.
  • Boosting staff morale and developing the right attitude and team spirit in them.
  • Discipline and Decorum maintenance.
  • Identifying potential people for higher responsibilities.
  • Build and Develop Teams. Manage teams to create competitive and high performance teams.
  • Responsible for grooming and development of staff for future roles.
  • Creating a good sales team who exceed customers expectations of service,
• Training  
  • Identifies training needs.
  • Providing on the job training to staff.
