We are a management service company providing services to an Indian branded fabric and fashion retailer, incorporated in the early 1900s. It produces suiting fabric, with a capacity of producing 31 million meters of wool and wool-blended fabrics. The group owns multiple apparel brands with a network of over 700 retail shops spread across India and overseas, in over 200 cities. We are market leaders with a collection of readymade ensembles with an accessory solution to make each occasion memorable. The categories include sherwani, Indo-western, bandgala, Bundi, kurta with churidar, jackets, and suits.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage in warding of merchandise and maintain inventory per brand guidelines
2. Inspect and record any discrepancy, shortages, damages, or mismatches in the inventory
3. Attend to walk-in customers in a polite and courteous manner
4. Provide accurate information (for example, product features, pricing, and after-sales services) to customers
5. Contribute to visual merchandising and help customers with product queries
6. Use the point of sales (POS) software for customer check-out in an efficient manner and troubleshoot queries related to the POS software
7. Handle customer queries and disputes; handle queries of delivery agents
8. Offer refreshments to walk-in customers
9. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store per agreed store protocol
10. Work on any other miscellaneous activities/tasks that take place in a retail store
