Promoting healthy balance: Encouraging students to balance their university work with their personal lives
Sharing resources: Informing students of campus resources and encouraging them to take advantage of them
Communicating: Communicating effectively with students and colleagues
Maintaining records: Keeping track of student engagement and mentor activities
Referencing students: Referring students to other departments when appropriate
Participating in educational opportunities: Updating their knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
